Vito (1978, 60m). A portrait of Chicago's 25th ward alderman, Vito Marzullo, "the last of the old time machine politicians." It chronicles the workings of Marzullo's ward, Chicago's city hall, and Chicago politics in general. This piece also provides insight into Marzullo's family life with his wife of 65 years, Letiza.

Rostenkowski (1981, 30m). A portrait of House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rep. Dan Rostenkowski, a powerful figure in Chicago (and national) politics. The tape is full of anecdotes relating to the particular style of politics in Chicago and the man himself. In addition, the tape shows us the phone calls, handshakes, and political deals that run this country.

Overnight Man (1978, 29m). A portrait of WBBM/Chicago radio news man Joe Cummings. We follow him out on the streets getting stories, in the studio reading broadcasts, and talking about his love for Chicago.

Veeck: A Man For Any Season (1985, 28m). A documentary about Bill Veeck, the former owner of several baseball teams including the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians. Veeck was a unique showman and entrepreneur responsible for many baseball innovations, including fan appreciation days and "give aways". Archival clips include footage of Wrigley Field; Old Comiskey Park; and Eddie Gaedel, the midget who Veeck sent up to bat in 1952, much to the chagrin of Major League Baseball.

It's A Living (1974, 60m). Inspired by Studs Terkel's book Working, Chicago's early videomakers team up to capture portraits of workers around Chicago, including a parking lot attendant, a receptionist, a piano tuner, a waitress, a barber, and even Studs himself.

Studs on a Soapbox (2000, 27m). A study of Chicago author, radio personality, and raconteur Studs Terkel. The program contains footage of Terkel from the 1950s through 2000, when he was 89 years old. Terkel gets on his soapbox at Bughouse Square to expound on various topics such as work, art, media, himself, his political views, his family, and his colleagues.
