Q. The videos aren't playing for me! What's wrong?

A. Please try these things first:

1. Ensure that you are using the most up-to-date version of a supported browser: Google Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Google Chrome for Macs is currently not compatible with our site, but we are working to fix the issue. Safari will work fine except that the "jump-to" feature will not work.

2. If the videos play fine for awhile and then you get this message: "Could not log in to Alfresco Repository. Aborting. Exception: WSDoAllReceiver: security processing failed; nested exception is: org.apache.ws.security.WSSecurityException: The security token could not be authenticated or authorized"

Quit the browser application and restart it. On a Mac, you can go to "Quit Firefox" or "Quit Safari." On a PC, you need to restart your computer to truly quit (or kill the process in Task Manager), but just closing the browser window does not quit the application. We are working to fix this problem, but it has been tricky. Please bear with us!

3. Check your internet connection. Can you stream videos at other sites?

4. Try another video on our site, to double check that it's not just a faulty file. (If it is a faulty file, please email help@mediaburn.org and let us know so we can fix it!)

5. If the video shows an "x" or is not loading, you may need to download or enable Java. (Most regular internet users will not have this problem, as Java is used by many other websites and applications). Learn how here.

6. If none of these things help, email help@mediaburn.org and do your best to describe what happens when you try to view the videos. Please state what browser version you are using (ex. Firefox 2.0.0.11) and your operating system (ex. Mac OS 10.3.9).
